As co-founder and lead of the Black & African American Movement (BAAM) Employee Resource Group (ERG), I helped curate Discord’s first-ever Black History Month (BHM) celebration internally and externally. I had a hand in selecting the theme, directing custom creative (hero art, emojis, stickers, server assets), crafting the blog, internal workshops, bringing Black Talents such as Big Freedia, Tank and the Bangas, and Masego to the platform and co-hosting events with other ERGs.
